Ilias Anastasiadis

Born in Athens, comes from a family with multicultural influence both from Asia Minor Greeks and Siphnians, with tradition in the authentic gastronomy. He studied at the Advanced School of Tourism Professions in Rhodes and post graduated from the French culinary school “Le Cordon Bleu”. At the same time, he attended numerous seminars on food safety, hygiene, and the combination of food and wine.

From 1992 to present, he has been working in the food industry in several hotels, caterings and restaurants in Rhodes, Sifnos, Crete, Cyprus and has experienced the Olympic Games in Athens 2004, as head chef for the AOB technical staff. He owes several distinctions in cooking competitions and collaborated for many years with the gastronomic magazine “Food Service”. Among other things he created and managed the menu at the Symposium of Ancient Greek and Byzantine Gastronomy held in 2011 in Athens. He has also worked with hotels and restaurants in Qatar and the Netherlands, in thematic weeks of showcases and promotions of Greek gastronomy.

He is a lover of traditional and modern Greek cuisine, and he shares his love with young future chefs at the Le Monde hotel and tourism studies institute, where he has been working as a tutor since 2004, teaching and delivering courses and seminars for amateurs and professionals.

Maria Dimou

Her love for diversity, the unknown and the innovative that Tourism offers, through the contact with people from all over the world, led her to study Tourism Business Administration at the Advanced School of Tourism Professions in Rhodes. Since then, she has been faithfully serving tourism, almost in all its aspects and though various positions.

She speaks five languages ​​and has professionally undertaken, with great success, major projects as a senior executive in events and conferences organizing, public relations, sales and marketing in multinational and domestic tourism businesses in Greece, Italy and Cyprus, with benchmark the legendary Hotel “Grand Bretagne” in Athens, the Starwood / now Marriot flagship in Greece.

From 2016 she also teaches young people at the Le Monde Hotel and Tourism Studies Educational Institute, providing them the vision and skills to build a career in the hospitality industry, specializing in communication and sales management.
